How do they perceive social entrepreneurship? - The investigation Avise - Csa

The Avise just published the results of a survey entitled " Perceived Social entrepreneurism by the French " A survey conducted between 15 and 16 December 2010, at the home of a representative sample of 1,006 people aged 18 and over constituted under the quota method.

WHAT YOU TAKE THIS SURVEY:

" When asked about various French terms related to social entrepreneurship:
  • only 43% of them said they had heard of a "social enterprise
  • 37% recall having met the term social entrepreneur

The concept seduced

The incentive would be higher among managers (91%) , public employees (84%) and more graduates (86%), whereas it is lower among less educated (61%).

The incentive to buy:
"When asked the French on the areas where they are most inclined to purchase a product or service provided by a social enterprise rather than by another company, a majority of them cite the power (52%) , probably due to familiarity fair trade in this area. Follow human services and outreach (39%), then the clothing (26%) , and leisure / culture (20%) .


" To justify the preference they might give a social enterprise, the French cite foremost better employability that this model allows from people in situations of exclusion (49%) before the moderation in the pursuit of profit to better focus on a social project (35%) . Then come support the local economy (25%) the protection of working conditions (20%) and environmental protection (19%) . Finally, user involvement in the governance is a favorite subject for 9% of the French.

Creating Social Enterprise:
