After Paris, Lille, Bordeaux , Nantes, Lyon and Toulouse, British Council organizes sessions of t is English, IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in Strasbourg.
The recent signing of an agreement between the British Council and EPITECH Strasbourg Graduate School of Computer Strasbourg will allow us to offer the test several times a year to students in the eastern region which had previously come to Paris or Lille and sometimes even in Germany.
An opportunity for students and young professionals who want certify their English proficiency as part of a project of international mobility.
With nearly 1.5 million applicants per year, IELTS is now the first test of English worldwide and is growing popular with students. Indeed, the academic version of the test is particularly suited to those who must prove their English proficiency under the program of study abroad.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is designed for people wishing to study or work in countries where English is the language of communication.
Why take the IELTS? IELTS is recognized throughout the English speaking world, including the U.S. (nearly 2,500 universities and colleges in the U.S.). The test focuses
international English rather than British or American English specifically.
IELTS assesses reliably the four English language skills: reading comprehension listening comprehension, writing and speaking.
Listening comprehension is an interview with a certified examiner.
In addition to the overall score, each skill is scored separately.
IELTS scores correspond to the levels defined officially by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Candidates may choose the academic module (to study) or the General module (to work or emigrate).
Results are available 13 days after the test date and are available online. Listening comprehension is an interview with a certified examiner.
