Can One Take Olimelt Daily

Sisters, Oregon

We would we be interested in Sisters, Oregon if this quilt show outdoors which is held every year had a far attracted our attention?

The town takes its name from the three peaks of the Cascade Range that surrounds it, The Three Sisters, a series of dormant volcanoes.

First called Three Sisters, Sisters saw the "Three" quickly removed from its name by the American positions.

The timber industry, raising horses and cattle have long been its people live.

Ravaged by two fires in 1920, Sisters has now converted into tourism;

tens of thousands of visitors come each year to attend the Sisters rodeo (3 days in June - 70th anniversary in 2010), the Quilt Show (2nd Saturday of July - 35th anniversary), and various other folk festivals, country fairs, etc. ...

At last count, there were 1745 inhabitants and Sisters 17 000 the metropolitan area.

For lodging in Sisters, we must be sitting on a good cushion of dollars: the average price of a home can vary from 370 000 to $ 440,000 (2008 figures, in crisis!).

To get in Sisters, various means of transportation possible:
